The schedule for this position is generally Monday thru Friday.
Some flexibility is required to travel for pre-bid site visits as needed.
Summary of work:
Candidate will help team with contract management, preparation of subcontracts, project scheduling, invoicing, and allocation of resources.
Manage project takeoffs and project documentation.
Use computer-based software (In-Site) to help obtain project quantities.
Review proposal specifications and drawings to understand the complexity of the project.
Obtain material and subcontractor pricing for the proposed bid through competitive quotes and negotiated terms.
Perform submittal documentation.
Requirements:
Ability to read, interpret, and understand project plans, specifications, and scope of work.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.
